Vision of the Griffin’s Heart by LRW Lee

The fifth Andy Smithson book, Vision of the Griffin’s Heart, is just as wonderful as the previous four. My 10 and 12 year old boys loved it, of course, as did I. The end was a bit of a shock that none of us were expecting. This one is a little harder/darker than the previous four books. Andy is getting older and things are getting more serious as he nears the point where he’ll have to lift the curse and take over as ruler of Oomaldee. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. They really have made an excellent read-aloud/bedtime story for my boys.
