The Mysterious Benedict Society reunites for an exciting trip with Mr. Benedict. The only problem is, by the time the kids arrive, Mr. Benedict and Number Two have been kidnapped leaving clues behind for the kids to find them. The children, of course, set off on an exciting adventure across the ocean to rescue their friends.
I read The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey as a bedtime story to my boys. They (and I) absolutely loved it. The puzzles and brainteasers scattered throughout were fun to try to figure out as we read. My boys’ only complaint was that the chapters often ended in a cliffhanger and I wouldn’t read more than one chapter a night to them. I very highly recommend this book to everyone, young and old!
